Mr. Sun is managing director of Pacific Enterprise Capital’s Silicon Valley office. His trans-Pacific business career provides the company with valuable insight to cross-border transactions. Mr. Sun conducts identification and evaluation of potential deal flow, reviews potential technology solutions for application by Pacific Enterprise Capital in China and participates in portfolio company performance reviews.

Mr. Sun has more than 35 years of experience in high technology, sales and marketing and business administration. Before joining Pacific Enterprise Capital, Mr. Sun was director of business development at Secom Telecom, a major Shenzhen-based electronic component distributor to China’s leading manufacturers of digital networking equipment, mobile phone handset suppliers and e-games/e-commerce platform providers. Previously, Mr. Sun was Asia – Pacific regional sales manager for Actel Corporation based in Hong Kong. The Mountain View company is an industry-leading provider of innovative programmable logic solutions, i.e., FPGAs. Mr. Sun has held various sales and marketing management positions at Crosspoint Solutions and LSI Logic. He successfully managed software development teams across a range of electronic component solutions. Prior to that, he was involved with ASIC design software development projects at LSI Logic, AMD, Amdahl and Fairchild Semiconductor. Mr. Sun received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from Columbia University.
